Samuri was George's dog, and he was always with George. They started traveling together when they first met in S. Oregon, two states over. They traveled together to Alaska, Canada, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Montana, N. Dakota, Minnesota, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, Iowa and maybe a few more. Skiing, golfing, biking, getting hay, going to the office, running errands, doing chores, they were always together. Sam was always popular when going to visit an assisted living home, being petted while bringing back so many memories to the residents of times gone by with their dogs. Sam knew all about drive-up windows, which stores gave out treats, knowing he could always get petted when he would greet our customers at the front door. Sam liked people. Sam also loved to work stock, helping us with our sheep any time he was asked.
George has always had a dog in his life, and I cannot imagine a better dog than what Sam was. Something George tells the new pup owners about their pup, " You will get out of your pup/dog what you put into them." I knew this was true, you could always tell Sam & George were best friends, they were always happy to be together no matter what adventure they were on.
Samuri is the Sire or Grandsire to all of our JE pups, and will continue to do so with his son Buzz now being our Sire .
"Thank you Sam for all that you gave us, it was more than I could have imagined"
