Saying Goodbye
* Due to the airline Covid restrictions we are unable to fly the pups without their owner until further notice, or we are able to recommend a " Flight Nanny " that we have previously used that was absolutely wonderful with a young pup.
We are able to fly our Border Collie pups throughout the United States to the larger airports. All arrangements are made by Patt, while working closely with the new pup owner of all the details of the flight, and to answer any questions that they may have.
All Journey's End Border Collie pups are issued a health certificate by our veterinarian before shipping and need to be the age of eight weeks of age or older . It is incredibly important to us at Journey's End that all our puppies have a stress free flight. With that in mind, each pup is crate or carrier trained and feels comfortable within the crate or carrier when it comes time for them to fly to their new home.
We have found crate training to be very valuable for many reasons, not the least of which is insuring that our puppies arrive to their new home happy, safe and as non stressed as possible. Crate trained pups feel safe and secure in their crate. This also helps the new owners with house training by having their pup sleep in the crate at night.
Shipping to Canada is a little trickier but not impossible. We have many pups that live in Canada. We have been able to have the pup fly to the nearest United States city and our clients simply drive across the border. We are familiar with the requirements of entering Canada with a new pup and we will guide you to make sure all will go smoothly.
We always ask that we receive communication with the new owner upon pickup of the pup, to make sure that as is well & to also be able to share the happiness the new owners are feeling with their new friend.
Also pups may be picked up here at Journeys End Ranch. It is always wonderful to meet the new owners of our pups and to be able to share with them our home and our family of red Border Collies.
